A Treasure Worth All

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth , and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field."  Matthew 13:44.  The kingdom of heaven is a treasure that is worth everything.  The kingdom cannot be counterfeited.  The kingdom of heaven can be attained by all.  A man, any man, can find the kingdom.  One must be willing to give himself in order to possess the kingdom.  The kingdom comes into our possession only by sacrifice.  The value of the kingdom must be realized.  The kingdom is not a mere trinket.  Nothing can stand between a person and the kingdom of heaven.  When one finds the kingdom, he needs to possess it then.  Otherwise, the kingdom may lose its appeal.  The acquisition of the kingdom is a joyous occasion.  The opportunity to have the kingdom for one's own is an occasion of joy.  To sit at the table of the king must not be taken lightly.
